Every month, the staff at Jane Macon recognize one of their own as the PBIS Teacher of the Month. This staff member embodies the respectful, responsible, safer traits promoted through our PBIS program. This month the honor of PBIS Teacher of the Month goes to Mr. McDevitt. Mr. McDevitt started his professional career out as an archaeologist after he finished studying anthropology in college. As the years passed, he found himself looking for new opportunities that allowed him to share his passion for history with others. With the support and encouragement of his wife, Mr. McDevitt returned to college and obtained his Master’s in Education. For the past three years, he has been teaching the students of Jane Macon Middle School, and he said that there is nothing else in life that he would rather be doing. Congratulations Mr. McDevitt.
