Students will be able read a passage for understanding and describe 2-3 things that they learned from the passage to include in their Book of Knowledge final project.

Success Criteria:
I can read a passage to learn about new things.
I can write 2-3 new learnings in my Book of Knowledge.

Standard:
ELAGSE6 (7,8)7RI10: By the end of the year, read and comprehend literary nonfiction
in the grades 6-8 text complexity band proficiently, with scaffolding as needed
at the high end of the range.
