Learning Target:
Students will be able to sign into their Google Classroom and locate their first assignment (Article a Day).

Relevancy:
Students struggle with reading comprehension when they don't have enough background knowledge, vocabulary, and reading stamina. Article-A-Day systematically builds all three in just 10-15 minutes each day when done consistently.

Success Criteria:
I can
-successfully sign into my computer within the first 5 minutes of entering class
-locate the articles for the week and read it silently without disturbing others
-I can identify 2 things that I have learned from reading the article in my "Book of Knowledge".

Activity:
Students will choose an article to read from the Read Works website that has been assigned in their google classroom and write about 2 things they learned during the reading in their "Book of Knowledge".
