Learning Target: Students will be able to identify how to select an appropriate book for independent reading.

Success Criteria:
Students will be able to identify 3 books that they would like to read based on the book tasting activity.

Activity -
After the teacher models how to find a good book, students will have an opportunity to "taste" the books and choose three that they would be most interested in reading.
