Teacher Direct Instruction: Central Idea and Key Details. Students will read and respond to the Acheive article: Sneakers on the Brain. IXL Strategy Groups - Skill Plan - based on MAP data - assigning specific lessons according to students’ instructional weaknesses
Teacher Direct Instruction: Analyze Characters Students will Read and Annotate, Heartbeat pg. 102 Strategy Groups- based on Informational Writing-Starfish
Teacher Direct Instruction: Analyze Conflict Students will Read and Annotate, Heartbeat pg. 102 Strategy Groups- based on Informational Writing-Starfish Students will complete Heartbeat Selection Assessment (HMH).
ESOL Students: Students will receive additional resources to assist with their understanding of the topics being taught. I utilize the Google Translate app to relay the lesson to non-English speaking students.
